GUWAHATI: Adani Enterprises on Tuesday, September 24 announced that it has incorporated a new company called Adani Guwahati International Airport Ltd. where it will carry out operations and maintenance-related activities of Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International (LGBI) Airport.
According to a report by ANI, this was done to diversify business operations, which is yet to start.
It should be mentioned that the company added another revenue stream to its cap by setting up a new company called Adani Airports Ltd.
The mission of this new company is to acquire, promote, operate, maintain, dvelop, design, construct, upgrade, modernise, renovate, expand and manage airports both, nationally and internationally.
In February of this year, the Adani Group had won a mandate to run all six government-owned airports in Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Jaipur, Guwahati, Thiruvananthapuram and Mangaluru for a 50-year contract for its operation, management and development.
