Saivikash educational institutions felicitated and presented scholarships worth Rs 14 lakhs to achievers in AIIMS, JEE, CEE, NEET and AHSEC. A grand function was held at Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra recently, where Rinku Sarma, who secured all India 8th rank in AIIMS (First time from North East) was felicitated and presented with a cheque Rs 5,00,000.
Dinku Sarmah, who secured 1st rank in CEE-2016 was also awarded Rs 5,00,000. Dip Nilim Das, who secured 6th rank in CEE and 10th rank in AHSEC was presented with Rs 2 lakhs. Himsikhar Khataniar, who secured 9th rank CEE-2016 was presented with Rs 1 lakh and Ripunjoy Kalita was presented with Rs 1 lakh.
Dr. Dharanidhar Goswami, Deputy Secretary AHSEC motivated students with his speech on values. Saivikash Chairman Dr. Pankaj Lochan Sarma, Director P.S. Reddy, AHSEC state officer – Prafulla Talukdar felicitated parents of achievers.
