GUWAHATI: Renowned academician and violinist Satyendra Kumar Choudhury released his new book titled 'Jibon Railor Dobat' in Guwahati on May 15.
The Assamese language book, 'Jibonor Railor Dobat' the title of which translates to 'Life In a Train Carriage', is a memoir written by Dr Choudhury, based on his experiences and travels.
Dr Choudhury, who has been the former Vice Chancellor of USTM, wrote the book in a unique style. He said that the book is written in a style that deviates from the usual pattern associated with memoirs and autobiographies.
The book, 'Jibonor Railor Dobat' has been published by Bina Library Publications, and was released at the Alumni House of Cotton State University.
