GUWAHATI: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has announced plans for a protest outside Prime Minister Narendra Modi's residence in Delhi to oppose the arrest of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the liquor policy case, as per media reports.
However, the Delhi Police has reportedly stated that they haven't given permission for the protest.

Arvind Kejriwal was taken into custody last week by the ED as part of an investigation into alleged money laundering related to the liquor policy.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has been insisting on Kejriwal's resignation from his position as Delhi's Chief Minister, citing moral reasons. Kejriwal is presently in ED custody until March 28.
The arrest of Kejriwal has sparked political debates and raised questions about the motives behind the investigation. AAP supporters argue that the timing of the arrest, just ahead of crucial state elections, hints at political vendetta.
