GUWAHATI: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has named the candidates for the upcoming bypolls in Assam. Nurul Amin Chowdhury has been named to contest from the Samaguri constituency, while Ananta Gogoi will represent AAP in the Behali constituency.

Senior AAP leaders are expected to visit Assam soon in preparation for the bye-elections.
Notably, the deadline for filing nominations is set for October 25, with scrutiny scheduled for October 28. Candidates can withdraw their names by October 30. Polling will take place on November 13, with the votes being counted on November 23 .
