GUWAHATI: Nine kilogram of Ganja (cannabis) have been seized from two passengers on the New Delhi Rajdhani Express at Guwahati Railway Station. The discovery was made during a routine check conducted by the Government Railway Police (GRP) on train number 12423 DN on Monday, January 27.

The GRP recovered 13 packets of the suspected substance, weighing nine kilogram, from the possession of the two individuals on Platform 1.
Speaking to GPlus, a GRP Guwahati official said: “Nine kg of Ganja have been recovered at Guwahati Railway station in a routine check, and seized from the possession of two passengers. The individuals were been identified as Purushottam Chaturvedi and Rajendra Singh. Further investigation is ongoing.”
