GUWAHATI: At least 7,088 driving licences have been suspended in Assam under the Motor Vehicles (MV) Act, stated Assam Police via X on December 23. The licenses were suspended between January 1 to November 30, 2023.
Taking to X, Assam Police wrote, "License to thrill revoked! 7088 driving licenses have been suspended under the MV Act. Remember folks, our roads aren't a Fast & Furious set. For the upcoming picnic and party season, let's keep it safe. #DontDrinkAndDrive"
