In a shocking incident that occurred in the city, a 70 year old Rajkaran Singh raped a 4 year old minor at Padumbari, under Gaushala Police Station, Guwahati.
The victim was a student of Singh's daughter. Reportedly, the incident took place when the victim came for her regular tution classes, and in absence of his daughter, Singh raped the minor. Singh was caught by the neigbours after the victim shouted for help.
A case was later registered with Gaushala Police Station (1394/17u/s4offpocso1). Rajkaran Singh is currently under arrest.
