5G Lab Inaugurated At Gauhati University

 

GUWAHATI: Union Minister of Communications and Minister for Development of the North Eastern Region, Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, inaugurated a 5G Lab at Gauhati University on Tuesday, February 25.

The state-of-the-art 5G Lab has been implemented to serve as a digital innovation hub, allowing students, researchers, and faculty members to explore advancements in high-speed communication, artificial intelligence, and advanced networking.

Scindia stated that the 5G Lab would open new opportunities for students, equipping them with skills for a tech-driven future. “As India moves towards a digitally inclusive era, initiatives like these will play a crucial role in preparing students for an evolving digital landscape,” he stated.

As part of the inaugural event, 59 meritorious students and six Ph.D. scholars were also felicitated for their academic achievements.
