4 Manipur NPP Legislators Leave for Delhi to Hold Talks with Centre

GUWAHATI: Four National People’s Party (NPP) MLAs left for Delhi on Tuesday afternoon to hold talks with the central leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in New Delhi.

Earlier, the NPP leaders had withdrawn support to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led coalition government in the state of Manipur.

According to reports, four NPP MLAs viz Yumnam Joykumar Singh, L Jayentakumar (Keishamthong), Letpao Haokip (Chandel) and N Kayisii (Tadubi) have left for Delhi.

Meanwhile, NEDA Convener Himanta Biswa Sarma, on June 22 last, said that the political crisis of Manipur will be resolved within 3 days. Further, Sarma also said that negotiations with the NPP were going on and a positive outcome was expected.
