390 cases of Drunken Driving Detected in 6 Days in Guwahati

In a drive against drunken driving in city and to ensure awareness on safe driving during New Year, Guwahati Traffic Police has detected 390 cases of drunken driving in the last 6 days. 
Legal action has been initiated against all erring drivers and their driving licenses have been seized and sent for cancellation. This drive will be carried out on 30th December and 31st December, until New Year celebrations end. 
"We urge all to drive responsibly and be safe on road. We urge all not to mix drinking and driving during New Year celebrations," said Amanjeet kaur, DCP Traffic, Guwahati.
