GUWAHATI: Guwahati is gearing up for a spectacular Ganesh Chaturthi celebration this year by unveiling a towering 35-foot Lord Ganesha idol in Fatasil Ambari. This is being organised by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Youth Club.

Speaking to GPlus, a member of the club shared their excitement: "This year is truly special for us. For the first time, we are crafting a 35-foot Lord Ganesha idol, making it the tallest in the Northeast. We are pouring our hearts into this project to ensure that this Ganesh Chaturthi is an unforgettable experience for everyone in Fatasil Ambari."
Devotees will be able to visit the pandal September 7. The budget allocated for the 35-ft idol is ₹12 lakh.
