2nd Phase Of Gunotsav 2024 Begins Today

GUWAHATI: The second phase of Gunotsav 2024 is set to begin on January 9 aiming to assess and enhance the quality of education across all districts of the state.

The second phase will have 14769 schools participating in it with a total of 13,32,811 students.

The latest 13 districts to be targetted in the second phase of Gunotsav 2024 are Baksa, Biswanath, Chirang, Charaideo, Dhemaji, Dhubri, Golaghat, Hailakandi, Jorhat, Kamrup (Metro), Sonitpur, Tinsukia, Tamulpur.

The first phase of Gunotsav 2024 came to an end on January 4, with 5,18,081 students, or about 97.68% of students having attended it on January 4 in 5816 schools. Eight districts in Assam completed the first phase of Gunotsav 2024 with Barpeta having recorded the highest number of schools participated with 737 schools. 

Nagaon recorded the highest number of students participating with 1,01,015 students. Sivasagar showcased the highest percentage of students who participated with 99.59% as student participation per cent.
