GUWAHATI: Two ULFA (I) cadres suspected to be involved in the Teokghat IED blast on 26th January 2020 were apprehended.
The cadres have been identified as Manas Jyoti Patmaut alias Bastab Asom (26) of Lukhurakhan Goru Khua Habi in Charaideo and Chow Lakhi Longno alias Rubul Asom (30) of Borpathar Khamti Gaon in North Lakhimpur.
According to reports, after initial interrogation by the Indian Army at their Sapekhati COB, the cadres were arrested by Charaideo Police from the army camp.
The cadres were part of the crack group led by Apurba Gogoi alias Arohan Asom which is suspected to be behind the Serial Blast on 26th January, 2020 in Dibrugarh and Charaideo Districts.
Further Interrogation is on and we shall soon get all those who were involved in this misdeed on 26 January.
