GUWAHATI: Basistha Police apprehended a drug peddler on Friday, February 14, at Balughat, seizing a total of 123.46 grams of heroin. The illicit substance was hidden inside 11 soap boxes, and authorities also confiscated a scooty during the operation.

The arrested individual, identified as Salim Ahmed (32), is currently facing legal action related to the drug bust.
