GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Railway Station, one of the busiest railway stations in the Northeast, got it first one-of-a-kind 100 feet tall tricolour flag on January 16.
With the ongoing beautification process, this initiative has been taken by the railway authorities.
In a tweet, the NF Railway mentioned about the installation of the 100 feet high tricolour, which read, “A 100 ft high Tricolour now flies over Guwahati station. The first of such height in any railway station in northeast India.”

It is to be mentioned that the Railway Protection Force has been tasked to safeguard it.
