The FIR, registered on February 10, invokes multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), including Section 79 (insulting the modesty of a woman), Section 95 (engaging a child in an offence), Section 294 (sale of obscene material), and Section 296 (obscene acts and songs). Additionally, provisions of the IT Act, Cinematograph Act, and Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act have been cited.

The complaint alleges that Chanchlani, along with Jaspreet Singh, Apoorva Mukhija, Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina, and others, promoted obscenity and engaged in sexually explicit discussions on the show.

The legal action follows public outrage over inappropriate remarks made during the show, particularly a question by Ranveer Allahbadia regarding a contestant’s parents.
