GUWAHATI: Six two-wheelers kept on the Krishna mandir premises, Geetanagar were set ablaze by a miscreant on Sunday, January 5 around 1:00 AM. The entire act was recorded on the CCTV cameras installed within the temple premises.

Based on the CCTV footage, the perpetrator was identified as Biswajit Patgiri, a resident of Kailash Nagar. Following the identification, the people and police initiated efforts to locate Biswajit, who has since gone into hiding.
Speaking to GPlus, an official from Geetanagar Police confirmed the incident, “A miscreant set ablaze six two-wheelers at Krishna Mandir premise on Saturday night. Based on CCTV footage, the miscreant was identified as Biswajit Patgiri. Yesterday, Biswajit's father was detained for questioning. Further investigation is underway.”
