GUWAHATI: Guwahati Sports Association clinched the championship title in the Pulin Das U-14 Inter-District Cricket Tournament, which was held at Judges' Field, Guwahati from April 4 to 10, 2024. The tournament was organised by the Guwahati Sports Association (GSA) in collaboration with the Assam Cricket Association (ACA) Cricket Academy.
In the final match, Guwahati emerged victorious by defeating the Lakhimpur Cricket Association by 3 wickets. Lakhimpur had set a target of 137 runs in 30 overs, but Guwahati managed to chase it down, scoring 139 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 28 overs.
The closing ceremony was graced by esteemed guests, including officials from Assam Cricket Association and ACA Cricket Academy. Rajender Singh, the Joint Secretary of Assam Cricket Association and Chairman of ACA Cricket Academy, along with other dignitaries, presented the awards to the deserving players.

Partha Pratim Kashyap from Guwahati was named the Man of the Match for his outstanding performance in the final match. He also received the Best Batter award. Garv Singhvi from Barpeta was recognised as the Best Bowler of the Tournament. Aman Yadav from ACA Cricket Academy was honoured as the Player of the Tournament for his consistent performance throughout the event.
The atmosphere during the closing ceremony was filled with excitement and jubilation as players, coaches, and supporters celebrated Guwahati's victory and the spirit of cricket.
