In a disturbing incident that occurred in Goalpara, Assam, a young woman of 22 years was brutally beaten up by a group of drunk men. The entire incident was filmed on mobile camera which was later shared on social media.
The young woman in the video can be seen standing next to a vehicle and screaming for help, while two men beat, kick and pull her hair.

The men then kicked and thrashed her as she screamed for help. The victim was assaulted until she lost consciousness.
Reportedly, the victim who belongs from Garo community was beaten for going out with a male friend who allegedly belongs form Muslim community.
Police has arrested 12 persons in connection with the incident.
According to reports, the woman's marriage has been fixed with the man and that she was going for a check up to a medical centre when the group of men assaulted her.
