GUWAHATI: The Regional Meteorological Centre in Guwahati has released a detailed weather forecast for the Northeastern states, including Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura, for the next 24 hours.
According to the forecast, light to moderate rainfall is expected in most places across Arunachal Pradesh and many places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura. Additionally, a few places in Assam and Meghalaya may also experience light to moderate rainfall.

Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds, with speeds reaching up to 40-50 kmph, are likely to occur at isolated places in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura. Similar weather conditions are expected in Arunachal Pradesh, with thunderstorms and lightning predicted at isolated places. Furthermore, heavy rainfall is anticipated in isolated areas of Arunachal Pradesh.
The sky is forecasted to be partly cloudy, with occasional spells of rain or thundershowers. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 34°C and 22°C, respectively.

The Regional Meteorological Centre has urged residents to stay updated on the weather conditions and to take necessary precautions. Additionally, they have recommended downloading the "Mausam" app for location-specific forecasts and warnings, the "Meghdoot" app for Agromet advisory, and the "Damini" app for lightning warnings.
