GUWAHATI: The water supply in several parts of the city will be interrupted today owing to maintenance work which was notified by the Guwahati Jal Board as of an official notification on October 27.
This interruption will affect several areas, including Chandmari, the Red Cross area, Rajgarh, Lachit Nagar, Bora Service, Ulubari, Bhangagarh, Rajgarh Link Road, Gandhi Basti, and other adjacent regions.
The scheduled water supply interruption is necessitated by essential maintenance work on the transmission line. The Guwahati Jal Board assures its consumers that this interruption is temporary and is essential to ensure the continued efficiency and reliability of the water supply system.
Guwahati Jal Board took to X to put out, “We would like to inform our esteemed consumers that water supply will be interrupted today in areas namely Chandmari, Red Cross area, Rajgarh, Lachit Nagar, Bora Service, Ulubari, Bhangagarh, Rajgarh Link Road, Gandhi Basti etc. due to maintenance works in the transmission line.”
