GUWAHATI: Sikhs across the country, including in Guwahati, are celebrating Gurpurab today, honouring the birth of Guru Nanak, the Sikh Guru. Known also as Guru Nanak Prakash Utsav or Guru Nanak Jayanti, this auspicious occasion is one of the most significant in Sikhism, marking the life and teachings of Guru Nanak.
