GUWAHATI: The stretch from Athgaon Flyover to Paltan Bazar has become a daily nightmare for commuters, plagued by potholes, unauthorized U-turns, and ongoing construction work that has led to severe traffic congestion.

Potholes litter the road, making it a challenge for vehicles to navigate and causing significant delays. The situation is exacerbated by unauthorised use of turns from the flyover, with vehicles making illegal U-turns in the middle of the road, further adding to the chaos.
The ongoing construction near Paltan Bazar railway station has also worsened the conditions. Construction materials left by the roadside have narrowed the already congested road, making it even more difficult for vehicles to pass.
