GUWAHATI: An alarming incident unfolded on the outskirts of Bengaluru when a crowd, angered by dangerous stunts performed on a flyover, seized and threw down two stunt scooters. The incident occurred near Tumakuru highway, where a group of riders was performing risky stunts, leading to a minor accident.

Eyewitnesses reported that approximately eight individuals riding four-wheelers were involved in the stunt performances. The crowd, frustrated by the reckless behaviour and its potential dangers, intervened by forcibly removing the scooters and tossing them from the flyover.
As per media reports, police registered separate FIRs against both the crowd involved in the scooter-throwing and the riders performing the stunts. The exact timing of the incident remains unclear, but reports confirm that it took place on August 15.
The rise in such dangerous stunts by young riders has been noted in other cities as well, including Guwahati, where similar incidents have raised concerns about road safety and public order.
