GUWAHATI: Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) revised the previous order of ward-specific lockdown. The lockdown period would now be for 14 days.
The revised order states that the said order, that is of lockdown in 11 wards of the city, shall remain valid for a period of 14 days with effect from 9 pm of 23rd June.

However, the order is subject to modification as and when required.
The earlier order did not mention the number of days for lockdown but said "shall remain in force until further orders."
