GUWAHATI: The Guwahati police arrested a vehicle thief late last night on October 22.

The operation, conducted by a team from the Basistha police station (PS) with assistance from Garchuk police station, led to the capture of the alleged Nayan Das, aged 24, from Sualkuchi.
Das, a known offender in vehicle theft, was apprehended after a reported stolen two-wheeler, bearing registration number AS01FV8029, was found in his possession.
The suspect is currently in custody, and further investigations are underway.
