GUWAHATI: In a recent operation, law enforcement authorities intercepted a vehicle suspected of transporting brown sugar illegally from Manipur to Guwahati.
Acting on reliable information, personnel from Bhagaduttapur Outpost initiated an operation near the Khanapara overbridge, leading to the interception of a hatchback vehicle from Manipur.

Upon searching the vehicle, authorities discovered and seized 15 packets of brown sugar, weighing 184 grams. One individual, identified as Nambly Mahamad Minazuddin (35), hailing from Lilong, Thoubal district, Manipur, was apprehended in connection with the illegal transportation.
Necessary legal procedures have been initiated against the apprehended individual, and formalities are currently underway.
