Known for making faux pas, Donald Trump Jr, son of US President Donald Trump appears to have done it again.
The son of the most controversial US President, in his electoral map prediction depicting support for his father, have painted the whole world map in two colors Blue and Red. Blue meant support for Democrat candidate Joe Biden and Red meant support for his father Donald Trump.
Interestingly, he has excluded Northeast and Jammu and Kashmir from the rest of India in terms of support for his father Donald Trump.
He has predicted that Northeast India and Jammu and Kashmir will support Republican candidate Donald Trump which he painted in red while rest of India was painted in blue color which signifies support for Democrat candidate Joe Biden.
Netizens on Twitter have considered the move as excluding the mass of Northeast and Jammu and Kashmir from India as a faux pas while many said it was deliberate and few said it was based on realistic assumption.
Meanwhile, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor has criticised the post as an attempt to "cutoff Northeast from the rest of India."
The question arises, does this mean Donald Trump Jr has a special place for Northeast in his heart or is he unaware that the area is part of India?
