Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal met Union Civil Aviation Minister Shri Ashok Gajapathi Raju ji in New Delhi and discussed ways to boost air connectivity in Assam and North East.
Ashok Gajapathi Raju agreed to lay the foundation stone for new terminal of Guwahati airport during Global Investors' Summit.
The two parties also discussed formulating a new aviation scheme for giving thrust to air connectivity with ASEAN countries making Guwahati as the hub.
