GUWAHATI: An unidentified woman was killed in a hit-and-run incident on the national highway near Boragaon in Guwahati on Friday, May 2, at around 1:30 PM.
The woman was walking along the road when an unidentified vehicle struck her and fled the scene. The impact of the collision killed her on the spot.
A traffic official from Gorchuk police station told GPlus that the woman was walking on the road when she was hit by an unknown vehicle. “Her identity is uncertain. The vehicle is unidentified, and fled the scene. Investigation is ongoing,” the official said.
