GUWAHATI: App-based cab services have recently made the headlines for poor service and have taken a massive beating in the city owing to aggressive customer feedbacks which have left them in a fix.

Surge prices, misbehaviour and unavailability are one of the most common complaints that passengers have left for app-based cab services.

However, all hope is not lost...

Mridul Ranjan Dass, a businessman from Guwahati booked an Uber from Beltola to Ganeshguri on 10th June but forgot his wallet in the cab at the end of his trip.

Dass’ wallet had cash, credit and debit cards along with other important documents. It took him around 45 minutes to realize his loss as he mentioned in a Facebook post.

However, his proactive cab driver, Kamlesh Kutum, called him up and informed that Dass’ had left his wallet in the cab and he was on his way back to the “drop-off” location to return it.

Mridul Ranjan Dass collected his belongings which were all intact.

Truly, Kamlesh Kutum is a hero for Mridul Ranjan Dass.
