Two men returning from field lost their lives when a tractor overturned into a water body
GUWAHATI: A tractor accident claimed the lives of two young men in Assam’s Morigaon on Tuesday, January 21. They were identified as Gaurav Bordoloi and Ratan Deuri. They were returning from a field when the tractor fell into a water body.
The victims were trapped beneath the vehicle. After persistent efforts by local residents and the police, the bodies were retrieved and sent to Morigaon Civil Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
Speaking to GPlus, an official from Morigaon police station, stated, “The incident took place in the Katahjuri area, where two men lost their lives after a tractor fell into a water body. They remained trapped beneath the vehicle for long period. Their bodies were eventually retrieved and sent to Morigaon Civil Hospital for a post-mortem examination.”
