GUWAHATI: Two people were injured in a road accident on the Zoo Road flyover in Guwahati around 1 AM on Monday, October 7.

The crash occurred when an XUV 300, driven allegedly by intoxicated youths, collided with a scooty and another vehicle.
The other vehicle was stationed on the flyover for light installation work in preparation for the upcoming Durga Puja celebrations.
Talking to GPlus, an official from Geetnagar police station said, "The vehicle involved in the accident has been identified as an XUV 300, but the occupants are still unidentified. Witnesses reported that the injured were rushed to GMCH immediately."
Further investigation is underway.
