Two Drug Operations Busted In Nagaon

 

GUWAHATI: The Nagaon Police conducted two operations leading to the seizure of a significant amount of heroin on November 14. 

In the first operation, a team from Rupahihat Police Station, under the leadership of Inspector Bularam Terang, executed an operation resulting in the recovery of 16 vials containing suspected heroin.

The total weight of the confiscated substance amounted to 2.07 gram. The accused has been apprehended and is now in custody, awaiting further legal action.

In a separate effort, a joint operation was conducted by a team led by OC Sadar PS (Officer in Charge, Sadar Police Station) and TSI (Technical Support Investigator). This operation led to the confiscation of 1 soapbox filled with suspected heroin, weighing 9.88 gram, and 15 empty vials. The individual involved has been arrested and will face legal consequences as the investigation progresses.

Nagaon Police took to X to put out, “A Nagaon Police team from Rupahihat PS led by Inspector Bularam Terang recovered 16 Vials containing suspected Heroin weighing 2.07 Grams. The accused is arrested for further Legal Action. A Nagaon Police team led by OC Sadar PS & TSI conducted a raid and recovered 1 Soap Box filled with Suspected Heroin with net weight 9.88 Grams and 15 Empty Vials. The accused is arrested for further Legal Action.”
