GUWAHATI: Boxers Shiva Thapa and Loveleena Borgohain from Assam have been selected to represent Indian boxing team for the forthcoming Asian Boxing Championship.
The championship will be held at Thailand in April, informed Hemanta Kumar Kalita, General Secretary of Assam Amateur Boxing Association (AABA).
Prior to this, three boxers from Assam were also selected for camp India which was to be held at SAI Centre Bhopal. These boxers included Amisha Kumar Bharti, Saraswoti Bodo and Priyanka Bora.
