In a tragic accident that occurred at Boragaon on Friday afternoon, a truck bearing registration number AS-01-FC-3750 hit a two wheeler bearing registration number AS-01-AV-0356, leaving one dead.
The two wheeler was travelling from Beltola towards Jalukbari, and was carrying a couple and their son.
The husband and the son were injured in the accident, whereas the wife died on the spot.
The deceased has been identified as Santana Das of Mariaboti, Amingaon.
The driver of the truck is currently absconding.
