GUWAHATI: In a bid to facilitate the smooth passage of emergency vehicles during the Sa Re Ga Ma Arts of Music Live Charity Concert and Dance Performance by Jubin Nautiyal and Master Dharmesh scheduled for March 29, 2024, the Office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Guwahati, Assam has announced the imposition of certain restrictions on vehicular movement.

According to a press release issued by the Assam Police, the following restrictions will be enforced:
• Commercial goods carrying vehicles with three wheels and above will be prohibited from plying on B. Borooah Road from 12 PM to 11 PM on March 29, 2024.
• All slow-moving vehicles are restricted from using B. Borooah Road from 12 PM to 11 PM on March 29, 2024.
• Due to the anticipated traffic congestion on B. Borooah Road, commuters are advised to avoid the route from 4 PM until the conclusion of the programme.

These measures have been implemented with the aim of minimising disruptions to emergency services during the event.
The Assam Police have urged the public to cooperate with the authorities and adhere to the traffic restrictions for the smooth conduct of the Sa Re Ga Ma Arts of Music Live Charity Concert and Dance Performance.
