Traffic Regulations Imposed In Guwahati For JP Nadda’s Road Show

 

GUWAHATI: Traffic regulations have been enforced in certain areas of Guwahati for the upcoming road show featuring J.P. Nadda, the President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The event is scheduled to take place on January 10, commencing at 1:50 PM and will follow a route from Koinadhara to Kalakshetra in Guwahati.

The restrictions are put in place to ensure the smooth conduct of the event and manage traffic effectively during the designated time. These have been listed as follows:

Restriction for Commercial Goods Carrying Vehicles:
-Commercial goods carrying vehicles will face restrictions from Khanapara to Dispur and Punjabari road from 1 PM to 5:30 PM.

Regulation of ASTC Buses/City Buses:
-ASTC buses and City Buses traveling over Punjabari Road from Six Mile will be regulated during the period from 1 PM to 5:30 PM.

Restriction for Slow-Moving Vehicles:
-Slow-moving vehicles, including E Rickshaws, thela, and Rickshaws, will be restricted from 1 PM to 5:30 PM.

Regulation of Other HMV Vehicles:
-Other Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMV) will be regulated from 1 PM to 5:30 PM.

These restrictions will be relaxed for school buses, ambulances, fire brigade vehicles, and other emergency vehicles.
