Three Bangladeshi Nationals Attempting To Enter India Held In Assam

 

GUWAHATI: The police apprehended three Bangladeshi nationals in Assam on Monday night, August 19, who had entered India from the Tripura side.

The individuals have been identified as Md. Abu Shaid from Akhila village, Asadul Islam, and Md. Sarwar, both from Godagari village in Rajshahi district.

One of the apprehended individuals was found carrying an Aadhaar card and had previously entered India. All three men intended to travel to Chennai for labour work. Following their detention, they have been sent back to Bangladesh.
