The miscreants arrived at the petrol pump in a black SUV without a license plate. Armed with pistols, they threatened the staff and forcibly took cash from the depot. After seizing the money, the assailants fled the scene. But, during the incident the police were alerted and they reached the scene, managing to capture one.
Talking to GPlus, a police official from Pengeree said, “The entire process was a hotch-potch as we managed to capture one amidst the robbery. The CCTV hard-disk was also destroyed in the process making it difficult now to trace them using the video footage, but we are still working on it.”
Further details await as investigations are underway.
