GUWAHATI: The General Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) Exams for Upper Primary and Lower Primary Level will be held in September 2019, said sources in the education department.
The TET exams were last held in Assam in the 2012 and around 26,100 teachers were recruited in the primary and upper primary level.

As per the sixth schedule, along with other districts of the state, TET will also be held at the Autonomous Council Districts, however, dates for that exam have not been fixed yet.
The question papers will be printed in five mediums: Assamese, Bengali, Hindi, Bodo, and English.
