GUWAHATI: Assam CID has arrested a 26-year-old medical student in the Class 11 mathematics paper leak case.

During the investigation following the chain through UPI transactions and statements of some students, it was found that Mohammad Ashique, a part-time teacher and son of owner of Bagariguri Advance Academy, Nagaon, leaked the papers in exchange of money.
Ashique is a medical student of Nagaon Medical College, and he was produced in court on Friday, April 18, after being taken into police custody.

The accused was also previously arrested in two cases of theft and kidnapping.
