GUWAHATI: A case of impersonation was reported at Dalgaon's Government Girls’ High School, where Sadek Ali, a teacher at Vallabhbhai Patel HS School, Dalgaon attempted to appear for the TET cum Recruitment exam using fraudulent documents on January 19.

Sadek Ali applied for the exam under two separate identities—one as himself (Male) and another under the fake identity of Sajid Ali (Female). He used the fake ID and admit card of 'Sajid Ali' to assist his wife, Sajida Begum, as their exam seats were adjacent.
However, Sadek Ali was caught before he could sit for the exam. Authorities apprehended him, and the police have registered a case against him.
