GUWAHATI: A black SUV lost control and veered off the hill near Gauhati Medical College (GMC), opposite Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences, in the late hours of Saturday, February 15.
The vehicle as per official reports slid off the side of the hill road at late night while trying to manoeuvre. Two people were in the vehicle who escaped, and no casualties have been reported.
Talking to GPlus, a traffic police official from Bhangagarh said, “The accident occurred late at night, and both inside the vehicle escaped. The accident occurred due to low visibility or driving error. Nothing major happened. We recovered the vehicle in the morning, as no cranes were available at night.”
