GUWAHATI: A city police team under the East Guwahati Police District (EGPD) arrested two individuals in possession of alleged heroin in Khanapara on November 23.
The police in the seizure arrested two individuals namely Niki Boro aged 19 and Padumi Gogoi aged 50 in possession of 81.22 gram of suspected heroin with vials from near Khanapara flyover. The operation was conducted by the Basistha Police.
Guwahati took to X to put out, “An EGPD team from Basistha PS arrested 2 - Niki Boro (19) of Noonmati & Padumi Gogoi (50) of Khanapara - and seized 81.22 gms of suspected heroin (with vials) from near Khanapara flyover. Legal action initiated.”
