GUWAHATI: The Nagaon Police have achieved success through a series of targeted operations, leading to multiple arrests and the confiscation of a considerable quantity of narcotics.
Led by Sub-Inspector Raja Irshad, a dedicated team from the Nagaon Police executed a well-coordinated operation that resulted in the discovery of 26.87 grams of suspected heroin concealed in two soap boxes. Additionally, seven empty syringes were recovered during the operation. The operation led to the apprehension of two individuals, setting the stage for subsequent legal proceedings.
In a parallel effort, Sub-Inspector Bibhuti Thapa, with the assistance of IC Morikolong, spearheaded another operation that resulted in the confiscation of 25 syrup bottles. Two suspects were taken into custody, and legal actions are expected to follow.
The night patrolling team of Raha Police Station demonstrated alertness and vigilance, successfully thwarting an attempted theft. The perpetrators were promptly apprehended, ensuring that they would face the legal consequences of their actions.
Guided by the Deputy Superintendent of Police (HQ), another team from Nagaon Police carried out an anti-narcotics operation in Dhing. The operation led to the seizure of 32 plastic containers filled with suspected heroin. Two individuals were arrested during the operation.
