Guwahati: A team from the Special Task Force (STF) Assam, led by Inspector Kapil Pathak, raided Nabagraha Hill under Latashil Police Station on Monday, December 2, following a tip-off.

During the operation, police apprehended an individual suspected of drug possession.
The team seized 16 soap boxes containing heroin, weighing 214.81 grams. In addition to the narcotics, officials also confiscated ₹1,06,700 in cash from the suspect. The recovered items were secured as evidence.
A mobile handset was also recovered from the suspect, and authorities are currently investigating its contents for further leads. Police have not divulged the identity of the suspect.
