GUWAHATI: The Special Task Force (STF) Assam conducted a successful raid on the morning of Friday, December 27, at Bilashipara of Dhubri. The operation led to the apprehension of a wanted anti-national jihadi.

The individual arrested during the raid was identified as Shahinur Islam, a 36-year-old resident from Khudhigaon Part-II, Bilashipara of Dhubri.
Authorities recovered several incriminating items during the operation, including two books, "Nuriliza" and "Jana Wazib," which were found in the possession of the accused. The books were written in Urdu and contained controversial material. Additionally, a PAN card, Aadhaar card, passport, and a mobile phone were seized from Islam.
Further investigation is underway.
