GUWAHATI: An accident occurred on National Highway 17 in Rangjuli town, Goalpara district, on Tuesday, October 15, when a speeding dumper collided with a motorcycle. The dumper dragged the motorcycle far before coming to a stop.

The motorcycle rider was thrown off the vehicle during the accident, sustaining injuries. The dumper's handyman was also injured in the incident.
Talking to Gplus, an official from Ranjuli Policer station confirmed the incident saying, "A speeding dumper collided with a motorcycle on National Highway 17 in Rangjuli. The dumper was traveling from Guwahati to Dudhnoi when it struck the motorcycle. We arrived at the scene and seized the dumper. After the accident, the driver fled away."
